Description

The Core Facilities train over one hundred new users a year on one or more instruments and are co-hosting a bioimaging camp for middle school girls with GAMES.Core users are trained to use microscopy, analytical and fabrication equipment housed in the facility. This allows access to the equipment 24 hours a day and provides users with a hands-on knowledge of the tools used in their research. Microscopy training is provided by Mayandi Sivaguru, Histology training is provided by Kingsley Boateng and GCMS training is provided by Austin Cyphersmith. Training on the ABI7900 is provided by Mark Band in the Biotechnology Center.
