🤝 A Campus-Wide Network for Research Support
The Research Support Community is a vibrant, collaborative network of IT professionals, research facilitators, and campus partners who support researchers through consulting, training, hands-on IT help, and more.
What began as an effort to raise awareness has grown into a thriving community—driven by committed individuals working together to improve services, share expertise, and build solutions that benefit Illinois researchers.
💡 What We Do
We connect, collaborate, and co-create to help each other.
- Answer questions and help solve problems in real time
- Share knowledge and lessons learned across units
- Identify solutions for complex or cross-cutting research needs
- Build awareness of available services and expertise
- Support each other in navigating challenges and finding the right resources
If you’re working with a researcher and unsure where to turn next, you can bring your question to the community—and someone will step up to help or connect you to the right resource.
📅 How to Get Involved
We offer multiple ways to stay connected and contribute:
- Monthly Meetings – Open to all, focused on sharing updates, solving problems, and building connections
- Microsoft Teams Space – A hub for ongoing discussion, questions, and collaboration
- Listserv – Stay informed and join the conversation.
