U of I Box is a secure cloud-based storage service available to all students, faculty, and staff. U of I Box’s built-in features allow for files to be easily stored, edited, and shared from any device that has a web browser.
Read and understand Box Health Data Folders Policies and Guidelines before storing any protected health information (PHI) in U of I Box. HIPAA protected PHI data must be stored in approved Box Health Data Folders only.

Central Access Controlled
Unlimited online storage for individual accounts and Team Folders with an upload restriction of 150 GB. Box is approved by the university for storage of FERPA sensitive data.
