A Central Registry entry is automatically created when an Urbana NetID is assigned.

Description

The Central Registry is a collection of individual and group University-oriented online identities for customers at the Urbana campus. The Central Registry allows IT professionals to create and update information about an individual or non-person entity.

  • Centralized framework allows efficient use of a standard framework for creating and updating information about a person or non-person entity
  • Pulls data from multiple sources including Banner, EDW, and various manual processes for convenient access
  • Electronic Directory Editor gives individuals self-service access to update information about themselves and other delegated entries in the directory that isn't pulled from Banner
  • Consumer feeds provide a common framework for pushing changes made in the central registry to the campus LDAP, Active Directory and the ICS directory automatically and quickly.
