The use of group work in the classroom has many benefits that have become more widely accepted throughout the academic community. This interactive workshop discusses not only how to use group work in the classroom, but how to use collaborative work effectively. We will explore the common challenges of incorporating group work for a diverse student body in teaching environments ranging from small to large classes as well as varied formats including in-person, hybrid, and online learning. This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design summer series. You may sign up for any or all of the workshops in the series using the registration form. If you register, you'll eventually be added to a Canvas course to help follow along with the series. For those planning to join via Zoom, the link will be made available to you through the Canvas course.
