The IT@Vet Med staff provides strategic direction for the college’s core infrastructure services in support of computing, networking, and application development for over 900 computers and servers. They serve as liaisons to Technology Services and AITS staff and management. Specifically, their college scope encompasses VETSTAR and VADDS support for the operations of the Teaching Hospital and Diagnostic Laboratory, application development in information systems, Web programming, system administration including the network operating systems, e-mail, shared file space and printing, application servers, network design and maintenance, data security, videoconferencing, and desktop support.
