This service ensures that campus building standards for data and voice communications are met. Plant Engineers have BICSI RCDD certifications and keep abreast of the current best practices for data and voice communications infrastructure. Technology Services commissions the installation of the data and voice communications infrastructure during the progress of the building construction. Upon the building project completion, Tech Services will certify the work so the project area can be connected to the campus data and voice infrastructure. Communications installations that follow campus standards allow for future expansion and ease of maintenance.
